How to speed up your firefox

So, first of all, welcome to my blog. This is my first post so don't be harsh on me, I'll do the best that I can.

Firefox is the most popular web browser, and the one that I use. The following is a trick to let you speed up your firefox. It may not be a big boost like from 50 kb/s to 300 kb/s, but it should be a bit faster.

So here are the steps :

1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
-  "network.http.pipelining"
"network.http.proxy.pipelining"
"network.http.pipelining.maxrequests"
2. Change the : "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
3. Change the : "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
4. Change the : "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.
